Fusion Drift Launch
While attending IAAPA Orlando, the global expo for the attractions industry, rental kart manufacturer The Grid – Racing shared a new concept: Fusion Drift. Developed together with game developer House of Karts, Fusion Drift combines the most successful elements from nostalgic video games with the thrill of drifting. Fusion Drift is a racing experience where points and tactics trump speed. This unique combination attracts players male and female, young and old, casual players, fanatics and business parties.
THE GAME: Boost your speed, take aim, and fire virtual projectiles at your opponents as you navigate the thrilling track. It’s like stepping into your very own video game, only this time, you’re the star of the show!
THE LOCATION: The Fusion Drift experience is created to work in challenging environments. Low ceilings, pillars, and dimly lit halls pose no issues. The track is designed to be curvy, the bendier the better the drifting. With a focus on lighting, props and themed elements, the racing track comes to live.
The tracks can be implemented in spaces from 500m2, allowing 10 players to race simultaneously up until 1500m2 where 25+ players can compete for victory. Fusion Drift is live in Utrecht, The Netherlands and about to open in Stolberg, Germany at MS Drift & Fun Centre.
THE DRIFT: This ride is specifically developed for the Fusion Drift concept and a custom-made design.

- Highly durable design with low running cost, TUV certified
- Swappable lithium-ion battery
- Unique and fun drifting mechanism. with hand-controlled brake and throttle
- 7” LCD screen, and four buttons control all game play and activate power-ups
