The Grid Cadet is our junior kart and a smaller version of the well-known Butterfly, developed in the past by Frank Eglem. The Cadet drives at Bleekemolen’s Race Planet in Amsterdam and Delft, among others, and has now also made the crossing to England.
Bayford Meadows in Sittingbourne, Kent is one of the country’s premier outdoor, floodlit kart circuits. It offers all-year-round, weekday, evening and weekend karting activities, and hosts in excess of 300 exclusive sprint and endurance hire-kart events each year.
Bayford boasts a 1100m MSUK-licensed circuit and a 300m leisure track, both set within a spacious 12-acre landscaped site. Running regular MSUK-licensed race meetings, Bayford Meadows is considered to be one of the leading competition kart circuits in the country.
The Grid Cadet junior kart has a Chromoly tubular chassis, adjustable pedals with anti-gas/brake system, and an adjustable seat. The kart in England is powered by a Honda GX200 4-stroke engine.
